Somatic Psychotherapy
Somatic Psychotherapy

My approach is psychodynamically oriented and focuses on providing comprehensive support through Somatic Experiencing and Integrative Trauma Treatment for various issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and CPTSD, relationships, sexuality, love, grief and loss, developmental trauma, adult onset trauma, navigating climate grief and anxiety, substance abuse and addiction, chronic stress, disordered eating, and navigating cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and post-treatment. I also support spiritual questioning and encourage creative expression. My goal is to provide a safe and confidential space for exploration, helping individuals live with more honesty, integrity, and connection to themselves and others. Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy fundamentally works to foster body-brain integration by incorporating mindfulness and interoception (awareness of bodily sensations) with emotions and insight. This somatic work enables the integration of the instinctive, unconscious, right-brain aspects of our experiences with the analytic, linguistic, left-brain aspects. Appointments are currently available through a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform, and for those who request it, I also offer a hybrid model of in-person and online sessions.
